The Uzu no Oka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall, which has been launching unique onion projects such as a giant onion objet d'art and an onion crane game, has newly focused its attention on Awajishima milk.
Awaji Island is known as the island of flowers, milk, and oranges.
In March of this year, the museum opened a store specializing in milk bread that can be enjoyed as a snack.
The bread itself has a cute milk carton shape and is delicious not only when freshly baked, but also when cooled. This new specialty is perfect as a souvenir.

The sweet aroma as you enter the building. The bread, developed over the course of a year, is made with simple ingredients such as milk, yogurt, flour, and sugar, with a focus on a "simple, nostalgic taste" and "milk-like whiteness,
The cake is steamed and baked for 40 minutes to give it a unique soft and fluffy texture. The sweetness is moderate and the flavor of milk is strong. Bread with milk cream or coffee milk cream sandwiched in between is priced at 600 yen each.
The dough is so fine and melt-in-your-mouth that it melts in your mouth! The pure white Awaji Island hilltop milk bread and coffee milk bread are 550 yen each.

Milk bread is available in limited quantities and baked daily at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. After they are sold out, only giellato will be sold.
Eventually, I would like to make fruit sandwiches using local fruits," says manager Chika Kuwata.
